We're paying for the ';rebuilding'; of Iraq, a country that has cause so much trouble with their former dictator, and now they're having tons of fun blowing up people and buildings.





Why doesn't Obama force Iraq to pay for its own rebuilding? They have billions in oil surplus money, and just whose pockets are those billions lining?





The cronyism with Haliburton and the government evidently runs deeper than just the Bush/Cheney connection.





Haliburton isn't even an American company anymore; they moved their headquarters to Dubai, to avoid American taxes and evade possible prosecution (evidently). How about using American companies, instead?

Are you kidding me? No major party politician will cut their ties with those corporations. That is their main source of campaign funding. Both Republicans and Democrats are addicted to the dirty money game. But there are honest independent candidates out there that wouldn't take a dime from those corporations. They're hard to find but they're out there. They can't be bought. Unfortunately, that's why they probably won't get elected.
More democrats got their hands in oil than republicans, but the repubs get the blame for it.





If you don't believe me, not only is the democrats continuing the war in Iraq, they want to send MORE troops there. I thought we were bringing them home?

I never heard anything about Democrats promising to give up oil, just cut back our production from the middle east. Republicans and Democrats alike are looking at drilling in the sand in Canada now that a more efficent way to do so has been found. Where have you been?

I gave up Exxon over 3 yeras ago. I have just about stop buying all products made in China.
