0bama hired a member of Exxon's board to be GM's new CEO. Are people who make oil prices now heroes with Dems?

Wasn't Pelosi livid about Exxon's ';outrageous'; profits just a year ago?0bama hired a member of Exxon's board to be GM's new CEO. Are people who make oil prices now heroes with Dems?
Pelosi doesn't know anything about business...all she hears is profit and she's immediately against it...as are most out of touch libs.

Exxon doesn't make oil prices -- the market determines the price of oil -- exxon buys that oil and refines it into gasoline. It then takes that gasoline and sells it to you to run your car. Their selling price is also determined by the market. If they bought their raw materials at a favorable price (crude hedge), they deserve to make a profit.

Again...the market determines the cost of their raw materials -- and it also determines their cash selling price.

As for him being in charge of the business -- as a CEO, it's all numbers. He should be qualified as long as he has people below him who know how to design and make good cars.0bama hired a member of Exxon's board to be GM's new CEO. Are people who make oil prices now heroes with Dems?
And wasn't the collusion of auto makers and the oil industry one of the main concerns of higher oil prices?

Bunch of morons.

Let's not forget about all those CEOs who took taxpayer dollars for bonuses...and their new roles as Ambassadors for the United States *cough* Google UK and Citi*cough*.
Wait a second.....you mean to tell me that suddenly the CEO's of OIL COMPANIES are in charge of running GM? Oh now this is too friggin funny! Talk about Obama hiring the fox to manage egg production in the chicken coupe!
that is f*cked up. it seems like the republicans are blatantly controlled by corporate interest and the dems are just closeted controlled by corporate interest. americans are f*cked from all sides.
An oil company exec is going to oversee GM building cars that use less gasoline.

Right.
