They got away with a lot of tariffs during Bush'es regime. Tht's been changedDoes exxon mobil have to pay any taxes on offshore and oversea projects? What about the oil they ship to USA?
Everything is dependent on the country that has provided them with the drilling rights and if they have subsidiary corporations set up in those countries.
The question is far to complex for this forum.
In case you didn't know, oil and oil products are the most taxed items in the USA. Anything you do with oil, pump it, transport it, refine it, make plastics, etc all have more tax than the actual cost of it.
