Crobs808 got the best answer but was wrong. Exxon went to the supreme court and did get the punitive damage award reduced, but as of Sept 08 they have made a partial payment. Check out exspill.com for more. Report Abuse

I'm not getting any of that money, so who cares.
That oil has cleared out and been gone for almost 20 years.
People need to move on to current problems which need solving. Such as the oily mexicans seeping and spilling into our sovereign nation.
