Exxon Mobil Corp (NYSE:XOM - News) said on Friday record oil prices boosted its fourth-quarter earnings to $11.66 billion, the highest ever operating profit by a U.S. company. Exxon and other oil companies want to make people believe that they have green but it is far from it. It is kind of like Big Tobacco posting ads to stop kids from smoking. If you call Ethanol ';green energy'; that is what they are focused on. To transport ethanol uses up a ton of energy and causes more deforestation to add new crops. Far from green in my opinion. The devil is in the details... and I'm seeing a lot of devils in those details.
